Frequently Asked Questions
Question :
What is the size of a DXIS® digital image ?
Answer :
The native size of the digital image is up to 9MB. When archived, depending on hardware and the software configuration, it may be compressed down to 200kB or so. The image height is 1256 pixels but the image width depends on the panoramic course length and may vary upon the model between 2500 and 3000 pixels. Thus, the total weight of an acquired picture may vary between 3.1 and 3.8 MegaPixels. This corresponds to 12x30cm² standard film format which uses 25% less radiation than the 15x30cm² format.
